For people who know about marijuana it has THC . THC is a chemical that is in the plant which is called cannabis that is use to make marijuana. People call marijuana the gate way drug. They call it that because when you smoke it you go try bigger drugs like cocaine, and heroin. I think that marijuana is bad because people will get high and abuse people. So you should read about marijuana before using it or continue using it.

If Marijuana is a "gate-way" drug that leads to other drugs, how can we discourage its use among teens?
Smoking marijuana can lead to a lot of things that you'd never expect to happen. You make a really good point when you say "people will get high and abuse other people." Drug use doesn't just hurt the user, it also hurts the people around the user.
What are some other negative consequences of drug use?
I think it is very true that marijuana is a gateway drug, yet a lot of people think that they can smoke marijuana and will not be tempted to use other drugs.
