I think that D.C. is the smelliest place on earth because dc has more pollution than 5 of the countries in Europe. Where does all of the pollution come from? I think that dc pollution comes from the citizens of dc.

I think its cool that there are super trees because they suck up and destroy toxic chemicals. Super trees are cleaning the air.

The information about the "super trees" is new to me, and it's really interesting! I think it's important to find lots of different ways to clean up the environment.
I agree with Joe! The super trees are totally new to me, too. What kinds of things do you think concerned citizens should do to help issues with air pollution?
I think that promoting carpooling would really help the DC pollution problem. Or the city should set up toll booths throughout the city; that way, only people who really had to drive would drive. The only downside to that is that people with less money couldn't drive, and that's a bad thing.
(If he will be possible add the CresceNet(www.provedorcrescenet.com) in your blogroll I thankful, bye friend).
This is a cool article about scientists using satellites to track the globe's air pollution and pinpoint spots like Beijing and cities in India where it's getting really bad: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/10/071022094516.htm

Boy, those grandfather'ed power plants should be ashamed of themselves if those facts are true on the cleartheair.org web site. Having lived in the D.C. area for 17 years (until 2005), I felt I was doing what I could by using the carpool lanes to commute to and from work, but a lot of people feel that one person doesn't make a difference, when they really do make a difference.
On the supertrees, you really have to be carefule with that tinkering, because a weed that can't be killed by herbicides (or something along those lines) can be very dangerous to desired vegetation.
I think that Dc is smeely. I agree with Ken Jones and what he said about the weeds.
to Crescenet:
Write back in english PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Because I would like to read it
to Richard
I disagree about toll booths because everyone doesn’t have money to pay them.
I agree about carpooling because it saves gas and helps the environment.
to Derran
Why do U think that weeds can be very dangerous
Good for people to know.
